Navy 'Griffydam' PE sweater (optional)
Black or navy blue jogging bottoms / leggings (for outdoor PE)
A spare pair of spare socks (essential)
Jewellery
On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school. The exceptions to this rule are one small plain ear-ring studs in pierced ears, and small objects of religious significance, such as a crucifix on a chain. We ask the children either to remove these objects or cover with a plaster during PE and games.
Hair
The school does not permit children to have patterns cut into their hair as these could serve as a distraction to other children and are considered by the governing body to be unsuitable for school. The school does not permit unnatural colourings in the children's hair for similar reasons. Hair which is longer than shoulder length, for either boys or girls, must be tied back at all times. Hair adornments such as slides or headbands must be neat and unobtrusive in colour and size.
